You can't make prime rib with ground beef.

Wait...so is it a decent top 6 or not?

Now I'm confused.

The Bergegenius deserves forgiveness by us the fans for ever having doubt because he has now assembled the best top 6 in the history of the NHL

It's decent. You have 3 potential 30 goal scorers and a couple of guys that can get 15-20.

If someone like Weber told him to shut the (frank) up and sit down, he would... but Pacioretty? pfffff.

Problem is we had to trade him (subban) to get Weber...

these are glorious times for our franchise.

but yes if you don't get at least 30 out of Pacioretty and Galchenyuk and 25 each out of Gallagher and Radulov, you're in deep poop because that bottom 6 is gonna produce a steaming pile of horsepoop.

I like the fact he figures teams and potential free agents don't talk dollars or term until noon eastern on July 1st yet sign a 14 page contract at 12:01.

I just figure you're best off keeping Plekanec as 3rd line C, taking D zone draws. IMO, DD will do better having another scoring line taking pressure off of the line he's on. If you can get 140 goals out of the top 6 you'll be fine IMO.

I'd reunite DD with Max and Gallagher, play Galchenyuk with Shaw and Radulov and make Plekanec the 3rd line C. That's a pretty decent top 6, and a good start to the 3rd line.

So, I just saw Garth posted Okposo is going to be an 80-90 point guy now with ROR and Eichel... you know because Tavares is a crap center to play with. How does this guy still have space on this site?

if Desharnais is in your lineup, he needs to be hidden. he was so spectacularly useless last season when he was in a top 6 role. it was mindboggling. i think he went 33 straight games without a PP point while mainly getting top line PP duties. there was a time when he was a semi-useful top 6 option but that time has passed.

I'm doing well.....at work as well. Even worse being here today as I'm just returning from holidays. But at least I have a couple of weeks of holidays left.

no no no.
DD is just fine on the 3rd line, or in PHX.
