Playing pretty good. Think he can win the Open?

Rory and Spieth are fading. Day showed some weaknesses today.

I wouldn't bank on it, where's the Open being played? Is it a links course this year?

Troon.

He just won the us open on a tight course. His distance and accuracy right now is unreal.

We'd have to add a second and take a bad contract back in return.

Yeah, but is it repeatable or is he just on a hot streak like Spieth, McIlroy and Day have had? The top 10-20 players in the world are so good and close to each other that I wouldn't bet money on who wins on any given tournament. Nobody to me has that aura like Tiger once had that made the rest fight for second place because they knew Tiger was going to win even before he teed off Hole #1 on Thursday.

He's gonna score a lot of goals for the Canucks over the next ten years, I don't know why people would even consider trading one of its best prospects when you don't have many bluechippers?
- LeftCoaster

Don't you have to sign him first?

Huh? I basically called you crazy because of your ridiculous claims. Hansen WILL NOT exceed this past year. Based on play time, situational deployment and the fact Eriksson was signed. Boeser, as good as he could be, would not fetch a top 4 pick PERIOD. It's completely off the wall and preposterous.

Stick with what you do best and keep telling us how the lines should look. At least that's easier to ignore.

- WhatTheNuck

confirmed u r illiterate....

quote me where I CLAIM he will EXCEED last year.
to debunk u once again I said Boesser was not worth trading for less than a top 4.
he was not worth Tkachuk is my opinion.

awaiting for u to opine again without paying attention

as for ignore u r expert at that already imagining what u do not read

Edler + CBJ 2nd for Garrison.

We get rid of deadweight and fix a mistake made by Benning when he first started. Gudbranson Garrison would be a sick pairing. The killers Gs.

Garrison is useless in the west as he already proved.
Why even suggest that swap other than u want Tanev gone for peanuts.

- Nighthawk

Garrison was one of the Nux better defenders despite what the peanut gallery had to say about him. The people calling into 1040 during his time were clueless by and large.

Your posts always show that you know nothing of hockey.
- Retinalz

Are you one of those guys who wanted to vote Tanev as the Canucks best dman starting a few years back. The guy is adequate, nothing special. Can't play physical at all.

Hamhuis is better than him now... Edler for all his faults is better. And yes, Garrison imo is better as well despite the perception.

yes.

when Garry was moved, I was disappointed it wasn't Bieksa out the door. Why move one of the younger dmen? or maybe it didn't really matter since JB planned on turning over the whole group?

can we move on from Garry now?

I am usually part of the move Edler crowd, but I don't want to move Edler and then bring in Russell.

I just read on Sportsnet that Benning is looking for a winger with grit hopefully. They think the D is ok. The Province Botchford suggested it could be Kane or Landeskog

I saw that, buy low on Kane and hope he works out. I just checked Botchfords Twitter feed but he has me blocked? LOL...I've never had a conversation with him on Twitter??

Maybe he does that to everyone he doesn't know?

It's only for two years. I agree . If he upsets the flow don't protect him on the expansion draft

JB said that in his Friday presser after signing LE... he wanted a gritty winger who could score.

Kane has lost some of his lustre for me since going to Buffalo, fresh start same behaviour. I know the kid can score, but building a team with a lot of young kids, he doesn't seem like an ideal fit.

if we acquire him, I won't be complaining.

I was just looking at his stats, looks like he had a bounce back year in the scoring dept... like on me.

I might just be picking at things.
