Would not be surprised if Wideman lost some calls but if the end of last season were any indication there were no "questionable calls" that Wideman lost. The refs are professionals, pretty bad speculation on your part.

Janko is a prospect, same as Boeser. Neither have played 1 NHL game. Really have no idea what they will become. Janko looks to slot in as a really good 3rd line shut down center. Boeser could slot in on the top line.......but has yet to play a game.

Not trying to be a dink but I saw the other day someone claiming that Boeser is D Sedins replacement. Pretty damn hard to replace that. Would be huge for Canuckville if he was, but I would just say temper your expectations.

Traveling bet hard that Elliot can be a 1A. Big gamble on his part but if it pays off then it benefits the team. Flames are not expected to be cup contenders next year.

If Edmonton gets their poop together they are set up to win cups. Calgary will have to get lucky with some trades. I am really not sure where Van is. Horvat is awesome, Puoiljalarvi looks like a stud.

IMO Van still lacks the high end talent to become a contender. Not trying to be a Richard but I feel Van is the team that is paddling up current here.

As far as High end talent goes the Flames have found their best players in the 4th round. For your fanbase sake hoping Benning is as good at drafting as all y'all say he is.

I get where you're coming from but stating he is Dank's replacement isn't really saying he will fill his shoes. The Sedins are in a class of their own especially because they rely on one another to succeed. Hank is the only one to step up in his brothers absence.

Boeser has lots of upside and I hope he can live up to the expectations set before him in this market. Only time will tell but he does look promising.
