I see it as JB was not throwing out silly contracts to UFA's.
went after Eriksson & said that's good enough.

I still think there is one more trade coming

I'd assume he went after more, but no luck.

I think Benning will go after some top 6 toughness using Gaunce Pedan and/ or Sbisa. A team looking to get rid of salary or a douche bag

Something like Hartnell for Gaunce and their second

I like that speculation.
Hartnell floats my boat or Landeskog if on the market.

It was freaking amazing!!!
Watched a young humpback feed about 150 meters off the shoreline. It was there for around 2hrs. Next morning was 3 bald eagles fishing. Stunning!!!

Burrows/Pedan for Hartnell

we eat 2m this season on Burrows & CBJ eats 1m for the last 2yrs on Hartnell.

Does that make some sense idk lol

HANSEN is a top shelf 3r liner on any team IMHO
- Nighthawk

Funny thing is if Hansen were on another team, people would on this site would be pushing Tanev and Columbus second for Hansen.

Edler/Hansen for Landeskog is intriguing & the Avs would have to look at that real hard.

something to really mull over for sure but leaves a lil problem on D for depth then. Russell is not my answer though.

- Nighthawk

for what ppl are paying for D Edler should get u Landeskog str8 up. Just take a few pics of Edler switching to a RH stick. send it over to Burnaby Joe.....

Boom goes the dynamite.

We don't have dmen that will get blackballed by the refs this season compared to the flames who will lose every close call decided by a ref or linesman. That's an 8 alarm fire going anytime for them.

JV is better than Jankowski who they couldn't decide to even sign to a contract one point.

At least we have players that can decline, their goalies are still career backups.

So....

Would not be surprised if Wideman lost some calls but if the end of last season were any indication there were no "questionable calls" that Wideman lost. The refs are professionals, pretty bad speculation on your part.

Janko is a prospect, same as Boeser. Neither have played 1 NHL game. Really have no idea what they will become. Janko looks to slot in as a really good 3rd line shut down center. Boeser could slot in on the top line.......but has yet to play a game.

Not trying to be a dink but I saw the other day someone claiming that Boeser is D Sedins replacement. Pretty damn hard to replace that. Would be huge for Canuckville if he was, but I would just say temper your expectations.

Traveling bet hard that Elliot can be a 1A. Big gamble on his part but if it pays off then it benefits the team. Flames are not expected to be cup contenders next year.

If Edmonton gets their poop together they are set up to win cups. Calgary will have to get lucky with some trades. I am really not sure where Van is. Horvat is awesome, Puoiljalarvi looks like a stud.

IMO Van still lacks the high end talent to become a contender. Not trying to be a Richard but I feel Van is the team that is paddling up current here.

Edler straight up works fine but losing a proven top 4 D is hard to replace.
All depends on JB if it fits his plan I guess.
It would allow Pedan to make the roster still leaving us a depth issue.

tbh saying Jankowski & Boesser as a comparison is laughable bud.
Boesser will be a top 6 winger but yes at what level remains to be seen.
yes elite talent is a sore spot going forward.

Not comparing the 2 by any means. Very different players. Just saying don't count your chickens till they come home to roost.

In West Coast terms that is like saying don't count your fish till their in the bucket!

I would wager Boesser would have fetched a top 4 pick easily this past draft.
I would keep him over Tkachuk.
if a player then who knows but an ELC carries a lot of weight.
