True but so is Sutter & this creates a new look 2nd line & leaves Bo to excel on the 3rd line. The rebuild on the fly is looking better n better.

He's a great hockey player but a 3rd liner tops. I wish him the best next season but I think he peaked this year.

I still see 20 goals coming from him or close to it but in a different fashion.
He is versatile & WD will move him around the lineup when needing goals.

That's incredibly optimistic. Borderline crazy. I disagree. WD seemed frustrated he had to use Hansen the way he did already. With new additions that will change and he wI'll be a staple to the PK and 3rd line minutes imo.

optimistic hardly when 38 goals the past 2 seasons & only 1 on the PP. 75 goals the past 5 seasons is an average of 15 per with only 2 on the PP.
Add to that we scored very poorly last season with less offense throughout the lineup.

if we get a fit Tryamkin in the 3rd pairing, why waste a lot of money on another d man for the bottom pairing? I'd rather have some cheaper short contract options on lesser dmen.

Kane has't proven enough to me yet. Aside from being hurt or underachieving. Hansen is more valuable and cheaper. Everyone thinks of what Kane could be and not what he is. He's been in the league long enough. Add in his off ice issues...

nice to see Hansen finally getting his due. He's been a favourite Canuck of mine for some time now. The guy is very low-maintenance and sets a great example for the kids. If only we had a few more Hansens, we would be well on our way to play-off success, such has been his important contribution to the organization

It was freaking amazing!!!
Watched a young humpback feed about 150 meters off the shoreline. It was there for around 2hrs. Next morning was 3 bald eagles fishing. Stunning!!!
