Nope - NTC is not an NMC. Somebody on a NTC can be sent to the minors for instance. It's only guys with NMC who must be automatically protected.

Depends if he wants to be paid after his ELC. Won't get the money in Chicago. But yes I'm sure it'll be an entertaining option for him as well. He also wants a gaurenteed top 6 spot. Not a lot of teams can gaurentee to start in the top 6 at the start of the season.
