Insane, though it actually looks like he's trying to hit the glass and doesnt realize that the coach is there. He even puts his hand up to say sorry? Not 100% sure but seems too crazy for him to hack his coach. - 13sundin13
That's how I saw it as well. For all we know they had a nice chat between periods and all was well after.

Nah, he checks his shoulder twice and would have seen coach there both times

Nah
It was clear last year that the Leafs got pushed around fairly regularly. They were soft as poop. So much so that Babcock had to address it, stating that they would be taking care of some of that this summer.
They are clearly going to roll with the kids, and simply grabbed a couple tougher types to give them some space. It's not Arcobello and Winnik, but whatever.
I'm not thrilled with these off-season moves, minus the Rychel trade, but when you finish last, no additions should really be frowned upon. - WingmanWillie
Couldn't disagree more. Glad they're finally doing things the right way. Was scared they were going to be very active in free agency and I'd have to witness a race to 9th with the Sens

Hiya Frenchie! Since I actually respect you're opinion , thoughts on Larrson? - Jeropotato
Hey Jabroni!
I love that they got Larsson. He's a solid 3 that at his age could very well be the real 2 that they need.
But why the (frank) did they give their only player outside of McDavid that can score? People keep saying the Oilers are amazing offensively...this isn't true. It's "potentially" true, but Hall has been the only constant scoring threat for years. Every players production goes down when he isn't with them.
Hard gamble and I don't doubt that Chiapet thinks he's a "cancer" and the Oilers will be better for this in 2019.

Lol...yeah, I guess that's the price, or whatever GM's were willing to do for the Oilers anyway.
