sending a guy that just had back to back 2 + ppg seasons, a guy that was up to 2.59ppg in the playoffs/mem. cup, is beyond ridiculous.
I get that the guy is small, but he has nothing to gain by destroying 16-17 year old competition again. Kane,Giroux,Gaudreau, marchand,hudler, cammalleri etc.

He's a C/RW. Would add some veteran leadership. And can also produce offense productively. Obviously isn't the PPG player he was 2 years ago but could get 50 points. Need guys like him who can play in your top 6. As much as it would be awsome to have a top 6 full of 20 year olds I think it would benefit their development to have a guy like him playing with them. |
