I have no idea. I would, because it's the smart choice, but it doesn't mean that Chiarelli would. He did just trade Hall for Larsson afterall

I do know however that Trouba is currently without a contract, and so he has the right to tell Edmonton that he would not want to sign an extension with them (as, allegedly, did Shattenkirk).

I like sosh, but what makes him more ready? Brown scored more points then him in the ahl and in the nhl this year in less games.

There are guys from his draft that've played 200+ NHL games already. If he's not ready yet even though he's done well at every level then I don't what know to say. He's Rielly's age.
