Hey where is the guy that called me a liar when I said Vesey and the Sabres were not close?

Another random thought, we're really lacking playoff experience on our roster.

Ennis
Gionta
Moulson
O'Reilly
Okposo
Franson
Gorges

Have playoff experience, and only Gionta, Okposo, Franson, and Gorges have ever won a series.

It's kind of why I am hoping that we squeek in this year. I don't think we will be a contender by any means but with Okposo signed now I am hopeful that we can grab a spot. I hope we get a round or two, that way the following year this list includes almost every player we have.

She's the best thing right now .. Cant you see he's aracist I mean how can you support some like that ?.

And you always say innocent until proven guilty right ?

but yet your supporting a person that wants to ban people when they're not even guilty does that make it right ?

For starters, why are posters debating about Vesey (if he's close to signing or if he's not)?
Didn't both parties acknowledge that they are meeting this week to sit down face to face and talk ?
And can someone please explain to me why we would want a a player that is not fast by any means, getting long in the tooth and is declining in skill (Rick Nash) ?
Have we not learned anything from watching the Penguins last season ?
In my opinion, we don't need Nash.

He is a perennial 30 goal scorer. Last year was really the first bump in the road to getting older I agree. However, even at the "long in the tooth stage" he would be one of the best players on our team. 14-15 season he bagged 69pts in 79 games...not exactly something to write off. I get the argument that he isn't the same guy that put up 40 back in 08', but he's a goal scorer, he's 6'4 which GMTM likes and he wouldn't be too expensive seeing as the Rangers are trying to dump cap.
Not saying I'm for it, but that's why he's an option.

This is a very good post. A VERY good post.

Don't pick the lesser of two evils when you can pick the best of three (and the only one who is really qualified for all aspects of the position.)

I watched the Libertarian Town Hall on CNN a couple of weeks ago, decided to read up on the Libertarian Platform ... Not too bad, some things made me cringe...but not as much as pulling the leaver for one of the other two...that said, Johnson didn't exactly distinguish himself and I do feel voting for him is throwing away a vote and paving the way for a Clinton win...can't let that happen.

Ok political post over.

While I want Vesey here as it is very low cost and his talent is there, I also see this posturing now as a sign to come in 2 years...he will be a pain in the ass to deal with.
Our left side sucks ass, so unfortunately it is a risk we need to take...hopefully his relationship with Jack, and the experience his friend had with Boston fans and media will play heavily for him to select Bflo.

Points taken, thank you.
Myself?
I'd rather have speed than a player whose career is setting on the horizon.
But who knows, you may be right that he has more in the tank yet.
Good points anyway.

Holy poop. Do us all a favor and do some research. First off, go look at who are Hilary's top donors and ask yourself why does a "woman's rights" activist take money from the most oppressive people in the world. Then maybe everything that she has done might make sense. She cares about herself and no one else. She by no means is the best thing she isn't even the 4,000,000th best thing. I would take Bernie over her hell I will take Gary Johnson over her. I will take joe Biden over her.

I agree with you
Not my first choice, but he'll still put the puck in the net
Big cap hit though, but that's why he's potentially available
I'm not trading any players for him
A 2nd round pick, tops
If that isn't enough, then NYR can keep him and that Cap hit
