yup, okposo's poor playoffs likely sealed it.

I don't disagree, but these two signing add a lot of what we've been complaining we're missing for a while now. I would rather see them spending money to address where the team has been weak.

Have you ever been to Birmingham or Grosse Point Mi. where a lot of the redwings live? Not to mention that the prices are about 25% of what it would cost you here on Long Island.

I do not get Hahn and DP at all. They talk about needing to bring KO and Frans back and build off the core and the team finally winning a round. They did not win a round because of Frans and KO. That was mostly JT and Greiss.

Maybe.. if Isles had signed both KO and Frans at the price they got they would only have just under 4Mill to resign RFAs and Martins replacement.

Will miss Frans... KO not so much.

Can someone please explain why TB was able to give Hedman an 8 year deal and why we can't offer JT a new deal right now? They were drafted same year. Can you only resign within one year of the contact expiration?

The cap will also be higher at that time. So far I'm content, I'd like it if we signed boedker for 4 years at 4.5-5 per. If we bring him in I think we added the appropriate size and speed. A top line of Ladd-JT-boedker would be fun to watch
