I like the signings two guys that have no excuses and are serious about winning like jt and are willing to pay the price to do it. Also jc cc and cc would be a better line than our old 4th in my opinion

You guys have a young cost controlled team. You will love him and he won't hinder your team's cap for those 4 years. Great person, solid 4th liner, ~15pts/yr

That's just from analytics I mean he scores more is mean I guess his possession numbers make the difference. I already like his no excuses on travel. Maybe wussy Frans and okposo didn't like it but let's be honest these guys make millions to play a game and are complaining about a commute that millions do daily in the city and make a thousandth of what they do

The Isles won a grand total of one playoff series in years with Frans and KO as core guys. We are not talking about guys that just played 4th line minutes. They played 5X5 and PP and PK. KO and Frans and any other player are clowns if they complained about the commute.

We need more goals no question. Need to find another impact forward. If this is the team that starts the season I'm not happy. Nelson, Lee, and Stome if they are all back need to step up as well.

I like Ladd. I'll take him over okposo any day but the clock is ticking on Tavares walking for nothing like 3 of our players did today.

sucks to see nielson go, but based off what we apparently offered and then what he took it looks like he wanted a change. I love the Ladd signing, 2 years to many but 5.5 is more than reasonable. overall better player and leader than okposo plus playoff experience. Also love the Chimera signing. Dude put up 40 points, is fast and big.
I still want to see one more move made... maybe nuge for 2nd line C? or Duchene to play with JT would be sweet

Who could blame the guy? He said he wasn't a 2nd line center yet he was and was on the point on the PP . Wish him the best he was a good player for 3 yrs but for the last 2 I didn't want him back.

Snow also said he could see #Isles adding another forward before the season, either in FA or trade. Tavares/Nelson/Strome/Cizikas set at C.

chimera scored 20 goals playing with beagle and wilson. I think he has a really good chance of repeating those numbers.

That's a pretty bold statement upstate.
We will see soon enough and I hope your right because that 4th line was a huge part of the Islanders success. Hopefully they won't miss a beat and gel right away.

i think snow decided it was time to make some changes. Okposo is a talented player but rarely plays with an edge and is very inconsistent. He's going to help the Sabres, you'll be frustrated with him at times though.
