it's either. Nelson will slot in as 2c if we add a winger, and if we add a center nelson moves to wing (my guess) unless of course nelson is in the trade going the other way.

I would have been okay with franz coming back, but he made his choice and I wish him good luck. Hadn't seen anything saying isles had talked to Martin. Re nielsen, I think it was a bit more total money but spread over 7 years instead of 6 so a bit less per, either way snow clearly wanted him back and franz chose to try somewhere new.

either way, once chimera signed there's no room for martin. Kulemin takes his spot, chimera on third line and one top six in trade and this team should be moving in the right direction if the trade is for the right guy.

Yes I agree Chimera is going to play on the 3rd line.

chimera replaces martin, that in itself is a big upgrade. Kills penalties, scored 20 goals playing with wilson and beagle, speed and is nasty. How anyone is upset over this is beyond me.

You are correct. I really like the signings he made this morning. Hopefully he has more moves he's working on. Still need a little more. I'll be the 1st to admit I was accusing him of sitting on his hands, but he did a good job so far. I know, he screwed the pooch with Hall, but, gotta move forward.
