good points. I would still like a vet back up and Ramo would be my choice but he'll cost more. And Murray might want to go cheap on the back up like he did yesterday before losing the guy. There aren't many more choices left. Ramo, Scrivens, Enroth and Lindback seem to be it.

The more I type (lol) the more I kinda like the idea of Enroth. And I think he would be open to coming back. Sign him for 2 years $3.5 total. And I would play him 30+ games. Keep Ullmark in Rochester and when Lehner gets hurt call him up.

You can see the type of team that Murray is building. Most of the guys are grounded, character guys, and then there's Kane. The problem is that we are so weak on the left side that they are more apt to put up w/ his B.S.

He's out of work and you're going to offer him a 45% RAISE??!!!

He can play back up for us at $1.25 just like he did the Kings. It's cheaper to live in Buffalo and it will feel like a raise.

Is he renting Patrick's house while here. Everything thing Evander is doing (or being accused of doing) PKane has already been accused of. Patrick is 27 and seems to have cleaned up his act. Evander is 24. Hopefully he 'gets it' soon and becomes the star that he can be. By the way, he is using PKane's lawyer now.

In a big city like NYC, I think he actually would be in a better situation. Everywhere he's been he has kind of been in a fish bowl. With the Giants, Knicks, Yankees, Mets, Jets and any other sports teams I'm missing, he could go out unrecognized in a city like that.

His personal life translates into his hockey life. When the hockey world is in Buffalo, and his name is being thrown around because of an "incident" that he was involved in at Bottoms Up, whether it was his fault or not, can't happen. The guy makes 4+ mill a year, why the hell does he have to do paid appearances at dive bars for? It's called avoiding bad situations. How many other guys on this team have been associated with anything like this? It's not the first time, and it won't be the last. The Sabres provided him with a clean slate, and so far he has pissed all over it.

I support Kane as much as anyone with everything you say. But I just refuse to waste my time doing it in here. People are not going to change their opinion because of what we write.
