I think the Sabres are done.

Lets say
Girgensons at 3.2
Risto at 5
and Foligno at 2.5

That leaves them 4.1 million with still needing to call up Ullmark, or signing a UFA goalie.

- Mentalorgasm5

Vesey...

3.2 is too much for Girgensons

I hate when people say this the goal is not to make the wildcard spot the goals to win the cup
- GERBE!!!75PTS

And why can't a wildcard team win the Stanley Cup? I'm being realistic.

First of all Girgensons will not get 3.2 that's ridiculous. He's looking at 2per max.

Realistic contracts Girgensons 2 per Foligno 2.5 Risto 5.2

They have 15 mill in cap right now while sending down the obvious Rochester guys

That would leave us at around 6 mill in cap space. And that's if we sign all of those guys and don't trade any. Still plenty of room for a FA goalie and depth signing

Sorry forgot to mention, I was actually estimating a 950k salary for Vesey in that projection

I still think the 2017-2018 season is the year the Sabres make the jump to being legit contenders.

It's one of the few things sbroads and I agree on...

Realistically say we do find a way to trade Kane we'll have a HUGE hole on the left wing. Even if we sign Vesey....

I'm guessing w'ere not trading Kane though because the market is zilch for him...

The more I think about it the more I see it unlikely we trade for Fowler as much as I'd like him. Left side is more stacked now than the right...

Kulikov
McCabe
Gorges

Gorges has a 3.9 cap hit for two more years and a limited no trade. He seems locked into the team and is too expensive to be a scratch. I wish we were getting Fowler. Murray should have waited for draft to trade for top left side D

- bluengold12

How so?

Vesey, Okposo, Reinhart, Ennis, that's 4 top 6 wingers.

They want Kane gone. My buddy who knows some peeps told me. They are done. Kane knows it too.

Idk...
There's prob teams out there that would take Gorges
And he'd prob waive if it's the difference between playing & not playing
He waived once to leave Montreal

I don't think there's a fair deal out there for Kane.

If we do sign Vesey and keep Kane we're fine on left wing. Right wing Okposo and Reinhart are pretty much set. Ennis will likely be a 3rd line utility player

Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but our division is extremely weak outside of the Sunshine state. Expecting a few more moves. Don't see why we can't get a wild card spot.
- 50GinosIn07

Florida will be in
Montreal should be much better
But I agree,
We should be a wild card team
As long as goaltending holds up

You want to lose another avi bet? I feel real passionate about this one. Girgensons doesn't deserve anything close to 3 mill

They are worried about bigger picture. I guess they are pissed Reinhart and Eichel were with him or have been with him.
