I'm not so sure the leafs neccesarily think fayne for bozak is a no brainer by any stretch.

I just look at their D compared to their forwards.

Rielly, Gardiner... Zaitsev? Corrado? Marincin?

Matthews, Nylander, Kadri, JVR, Marner, Komarov, etc.

They need a RHD to fill a hole while they develop and might not need Bozak.

Problem with RNH out at this point is that we'd need a middle 6 C badly.

Draisaitl is about as likely to be a 40 pt C who struggles in year 3 as he is to be a PPG C who drives his line on his own.

Arguably, the best FA center available is Sam Gagner...

Personally, I'd trade Yak for Ekblad or Doughty, with Florida/LA adding a 1st to make losing Yak-City a little easier to swallow.

Personally, I'd trade Yak for Ekblad or Doughty, with Florida/LA adding a 1st to make losing Yak-City a easier to swallow.

Maybe just maybe it makes sense as a two-way deal to keep Reinhart out of the NHL to avoid cap bonuses. There are better options for such, but maybe they just made the easy, low-cost add for this sake.

Fraser is terrible . Rather plug in reinhart in spot duty.
I also believe with that kind of top 4 insulation and Davidson beside him, nurse playing on the 3rd pair could be ideal for both him And the club.

Ima assume puju makes the big club. Even being cautious, I still think he does. Chia has a hard on for the kid.

If we got Barrie and replaced nuge with bozak, that would be absolutely ideal.
