Sort of, but not as much as I'd like to.

About a year ago, I started the kind of 9-5, Monday to Friday job that's more like 8-6:30, Monday to Saturday in practice so between sports and that, I'm too wiped to swing the ban hammer with any regularity.

I totally get your disappointment in losing Hall but the bashing of Larsson is unfair and inaccurate. As a Devils season ticket holder I have seen a tremendous growth of Larsson in just 2 short years. Has he put up a ton of points? No. But take into consideration that he has played on a VERY bad scoring team. I guarantee that with a supporting cast of offensively gifted players that Larrson will thrive. In addition, I compare Larsson to Hedmen (TB) who took several years before he became a dominant D-man. Did the Devile make out...yes. But EDM got a very good, top pairing defenseman who will only continue to get better. Trust me in that Edm did very well by acquiring Larsson.

You call it Larsson bashing but I call it an accurate description stripped of unnecessary hope and extrapolation. He is not Hedman. He is quite far behind Hedman who ought to be a Norris candidate every year from here until he's 35. I already DOUBLED his offense from 18 points to the 30 range with better forwards. Not sure what else you want here.

Losing Hall was not great, but saying that we needed to get Defence and the GMS around the league have the oilers over a barrel and can ask for anything.

Its done time to look at today and see what we can do.

Do they end up with Lucic and maybe Demers

That would make the Oilers look better and harder to play against.

I don't like the idea that much but there's an argument that we should get cheaper at our 3rd pairing RD.

I mean either way he's an interesting look at probably under 2 mil.

I see nothing in any of his numbers or history in the NHL that suggests Larsson>Demers
