Had to know he was gonna get a decent pay day. Had a good playoffs. Provides a lot of leadership, he's physical. I think it's an ok deal. Chimera deal is great value.

Problem is we don't know this yet. If he turns out to be then fine. If not then it's a collosal fail.

Good addition of grit. And nice short-term addition. BUT...SEVEN years at 6 million??? I knew Lucic, Ladd, Ericson would ALL be signed too long for too big a Cap hit. And this is a prime example. Lucic must be 30 or so and plays hard minutes.....2-3 years from now, it won't be pretty.....
