I just see it as wasted cap space when there are other moves we need to make, particularly on D, where our younger guys don't look ready to step into more than a 6/7 role right now.

Like was posted before it makes teams think twice before taking liberties and when they do they at least have to answer to them. I dunno about you but personally i'm growing old of seeing our goalies get ran over and no one do do anything about that. Also the guy can play..... This isn't stone hands Orr here. 19 points with an average ice time of 10 minutes is respectable enough.

Where are you guys going for stats now? I was trying to find PK minutes for Martin and it's either basic stats or fancy stats. NHL.com is poop now for stats.

It's nothing to gripe about, and everyone has been preaching the addition of veterans. It's just a little too close to a move the former regime would have made, so it's understandable that some fans are leery.
