I was just going to say that don't be shocked if they miss out on the playoffs next year. D is better than next year, and as much as it's a speed game, they've lost more than they've added. I'm not counting on the young guys to bring anything until they've actually done it.

Better then 2010-11 but no where close to 2013-14 when a Richards cheap signing was nice and that would have been what the Campbell signing could viewed at.


However, the upfront F depth is sickening. See hwo Bowman rubs his 2 rocks together to slide guys in and under cap.

I beg to differ. D is much better. 5 of top 6 forwards are pretty darn good. Bottom 6 will be pretty good. (Kruger, Rasmussen, Desjardins, Panik and then two of the following Lundberg, Schmaltz, Hinostroza, Motte, Hartman, McNeil, Kero, Baun, and yes Mashinter.)

If we could snag a 2LW on the cheap or if one of the youngsters listed as a bottom 6 is much better than we expect the roster is looking pretty good.

That was his lone bright spot in a longggg time. He essentially just capitalized though on a rookie GM in his 20s who basically was given the directive from owners to save money and improve the team. I dont think he was savvy there as much as Arizona was desperate to take on that cap hit and save real world money and move up to take Chychrun

Would have filled the gap for Shaw, if given a shot by Q. Q and Stan made a lot of puzzling decisions last season. Hopefully the first round TKO wakes them up. Then again, maybe I get win the Mega and marry Julianne Hough.

Until then , hope that McNeill and Hartman make huge strides to maybe audition with Toews orrrrrr it will be another season of Tazer being targeted and the smurfs being kept to the outside.

on Rundblad, perhaps Stan is simply hoping someone will take him off waivers and completely remove his cap hit this year.

Just because waivers have been requested does not mean he will in fact be bought out when all is said and done. He could still remain under contract and be sent down to the Rock.

The media puppets who leaked 4.5 are a joke. Shaw wanted bulk amount 20+ and the Hawks spun it to an AAV amount to justify trade and put impending move in public mind. pathetic Myers and Lazerus took the bait. Like that DH and Hedger called them out for it.

Also tired of hearing how Daley being run off by Q cost them a cup...well without Daley gone, you don't get Ladd, probably not Weise and Fleischman, so your top 12 upfront would have been crap and I still dont' see how that with Daley=16 wins. Guys like Rozner preaching this is hilarious and sad.

Oh well....good luck to Shaw. AAV was nice, but term was too long for a guy with back issues.

Ladd with Gus and Rundblad as your 3rd pairing in Game 7 vs STL or no Ladd and Daley as your #4, TVR as your #5 and spin the wheel on your #6 with Denault in the bottom 6 in Game 7 vs STL?

I think Campbell is a better fit for us then Hamuis. He will bring some needed mobility back there. All things considered, Hudler is decent option to put at LW with Tazer.

I like Maroon as a big body power forward with decent hands. He can slot in and be effective with good players or play a bruising game on line 3. I thought he was signed for another year or two?

NO ONE is going to sign him. He already went through waivers one time and no one touched him. Bowman and Q seem to be the only two men on the planet who think (thought) he could play. The languishing with that guy makes me seriously question the direction of this club...
