I know it. I think the idea is the Hawks will wait for the smoke to clear and go grab a wing. Hudler, DSP, there are some nice guys. We don't need a PPG guy, but a capable skater who can play a defined role. We are NOT getting a PPG guy to play with Toews, that's just not gonna happen, but I bet Jiri Hudler could score 50 points playing with 19 and 81.

In the past JJ has mentionned interest in two players that are still FAs after the first 50 min: Boedker and Purcell.

And Weise. I liked him for 1LW although might be in the minority on that but he was fearless, big body, checked well, can keep the dogs away from Tazer. Haven't heard what Philly gave him, perhaps he got paid

Dude, we were NEVER gonna get a guy making 3 or more to play wing. Not unless someone was traded.
