Darn. Two-years; $3.875 mil AAV.

Out of the 'Hawks price range, but would have made for a nice fit with the team.

Perron got his shoulder obliterated and he has concussion problems. Pass, IMO.

I wonder if Stan makes a run at Connor Carrick. Great young puck moving defenseman

Why would he want those qualities when he has Rozy

I thought burying him in Rockford would only cost $100k for this year only. Am I wrong here?

Campbell has changed his Twitter pic to one of him in a Blackhawks sweater. Seems pretty official.

ETA: Probably just waiting for the management-by-committee team in 1901 to agree on the press release.

Nielsen AAV of 5.25.....and AA at 4.55....and he's 4 years older than AA.. Detroit is so desperate. Kind of sad watching them

when you bury him in the AHL his cap hit is $100K now we are going to have to have cap hits of $133 and $183? Why did we give him over $950? why did we give him a 2 year deal. that $183 hurts for next year. That was just A dumb dumb deal by Stan and now its costing us a extra $210K of cap hits over 2 years. that makes no sense. just take the $100K cap hit this year.

Soupy had that change already done earlier this week, he just hadn't hit the "Submit" button yet. Soupy got his bank, but thanks to him for taking a run with the Hawks instead of going after the cash elsewhere. He could have EASILY gotten more than 2 million per.

I don't get it either, but it's worth something to have the guy GONE so he can't resurface.

A Rundblad buyout would leave the #Blackhawks with a $133K cap hit this year and a $183K cap hit next year.
- hawks1921

Yeah I don't get this one, makes no sense. If left buried in Rockford it's a $100,000 cap hit this year.
