I don't know about you but tossing 5 or 6 mil at secondary players wouldn't make me feel any better than signing Weisse.

So as long as they have one guy that fi that criteria the rest won't matter (so for instant they have Schultz and MDZ that fit that) so AMAC could spend the season in the minors if the Flyers chose to do so?

Actually, a team has to expose a certain amount of players who meet that criteria. If MacDonald spends the entire season in the AHL, he can still be exposed in the expansion draft.

they dont...because both of those guys arent under contract for 17-18. The only other possibility is them getting resigned and exposed or the more likely scenario....Brandon Manning gets resigned for 2 years and exposed

Considering they have 9.6 in cap space after sighning Weise and have to sign Schenn, Cousins and Manning and Hextall stated he wants to keep a 2 million dollar cushion I really think this is the only type of signings we will see
