Likely top line AHL guy
- PhillySportsGuy

I think he was with AZ a while. Never seemed like he ever got an NHL chance. Seemed to have good skills.

The last Hobey Baker winner we had on the Flyers was a constant whipping boy.

The brass didn't know how the coach was gonna use him, and they expected him to be a savior? That's just bad reasoning on the Hawks' part, then.

That's not the first time that's happened. Quenneville does that if he doesn't like the fit

He was scratching Antoine Vermette. Kimmo hadn't played all season so his situation was understandable, but Quenneville has no issues cutting minutes for new players, or scratching them

this bugs me. i like weise, sure, but i loved how white played for us down the stretch, esp. on that 2nd unit when the top unit couldn't score in a whore house with evander kane money.

Why not sign them both? Not like our bottom 6 doesn't have holes.

Rumors coming true. Got it.
- CaptEO

Do you have an alert system when a mild ball busting post is made about EK, or is there an alert system? If that's the case, it would take an inordinate amount of man hours to monitor. You must have a team dedicated to this.......or

They traded for him thinking he was a late bloomer who would score, based off his production in the top 6. Not at at Kane rate, a Hossa rate. But they acquired him to contribute offensively, and he simply didn't.

Ladd didn't either, at the expected rate. But they acquired both of them to score and provide physical presence and size.

It's ok to say that Weise didn't get the job done in Chciago. He overachieved in MTL, didn't do much of anything in Chicago. Both of those statements are true

- AllInForFlyers

He was a playoff rental add, not a player they were looking for as a late bloomer., or strictly for offensive ability. I don't care that he didn't score in Chicago.

Don't know anything about Weise, but liked White. Wonder where he ends up because he clearly wanted to stay.

Wiese is a better player than White, but 4 years, at that term not worth it.
