This is the face made by RD after Wales scored their 3rd goal.

It was a bittersweet loss. I like Wales a lot. Rooting for them the rest of the way.

I told you man. Belgium was playing like poop. The Italy-Germany game tomorrow is going to be good. Two machines operating on different circuits.

You may be right . But we're you one of the guys who thought once the Rangers got into the playoffs they would may a run ? This team got expose badly at the end of the year . Now it looks like they may be coming back with the same team .. Just saying

Haha no. I knew they weren't getting past Pittsburgh for two reasons. 1 I just didn't see anyone beating them. 2 I just didn't see the Rangers play with any determination the last almost half of the season. I of course threw that out the window during the series in hope, but deep done knew what the result would be.

However I want to see what the response is by the core of this team. As well as a season after having more rest. I do believe a couple of these players will have better seasons.

Like the Grabner signing for the 4th line, not so big (pun intended) on the Gerbe signing although it's on the cheap.

Assuming nothing else changes what are our line combos?

Kreider Brass Nash
Zucc Stepan Miller
Buchnevich Hayes Fast
Grabner X Jensen/Gerbe/Hrivik

What do you guys think about trading Hayes for Coyle? Add a RH shot into the lineup. I think Hayes has a higher ceiling but Coyle brings more of what we need IMO.

slowly but surely there are suddenly a whole lot of forwards again, and they are gonna be all in on Vesey, and then there is this wildcard in Malte Stromwall who I keep hearing great things about who is a right handed shot

they got Tambellini who scored 17 goals in his first pro season, Boo Nieves on the horizon, I just don't think they should add anymore bottom 6 guys at all.

Gerbe is fine, 600K, nothing to sneeze at.

But now the only focus should be getting the RFA's done and maybe a top 6 forward if the situation presents itself

Coyle more of a winger? If so might be worth looking into. I mean Hayes got shifted around quite a bit last year. Felt like we had too many centers.

For some reason he excites me, and not on a gay way. Can't put my finger on it, but I have really been looking forward to seeing what he can be.

The only player in our line up that poses any type of physical threat is Kreider, unless McIlrath/Holden get a legit shot to play. Don't want to use Kreids as a policeman. Need to bring a physical force to the bottom 6.

What do you guys think of Hudler? Had a huge year in 2014-2015, but came back to earth last year.

I agree, I wanted Martin or Stewart for the 4th line. Grabner/Gerbe/Hrivik/Fast/Jensen etc all bring the same game IMO. Still need a 4th line center and I don't see to many out there that fill the role were looking for, might be forced to bring Moore back.

If he's willing to sign for cheap and be our 4th line center I'm fine with it.

I wouldnt sleep on this Stromwall kid, I think he really has a shot in camp

I really don't think they need anything else up front unless it's a top line major impact player

He sure is a promising undrafted Swede, but don't expect him to play on opening night. The jump from Sweden's league B to MSG is a big one... And we know AV's love for young inexperienced players

I still think the core needs a little shakeup. What they did yesterday was just fill holes for the loss of Dom Moore and Stalberg. But it is only July 2nd, so I am not gonna get up in arms yet.

I am glad though they didn't overspend on any of the players yesterday.

The isles signing Ladd to a 7 year deal when he's turning 31 this year is something the Rangers usually do. Glad we stayed away from that.
