I think after the draft and today the rangers have stayed the same or a little lower in talent . Losing Yandle will hurt a bit but the others not so much . It may be tough to make the playoffs next year if nothing happens between now and October . The only good thing that happened today is the Rangers didn't sign any long term contracts and islanders got worst !!

Honestly if this was the team on opening night, I have faith in them to do some damage. Last year was hopefully just an off year and this year it comes together again.

Honestly if this was the team on opening night, I have faith in them to do some damage. Last year was hopefully just an off year and this year it comes together again.

Even if all that's true, we still have Stepan, Zuccarello, Brassard, Kreider, Miller, Hayes, McDonagh, Skjei, Klein, and Lundqvist.

Seriously? I'm kind of getting tired of seeing this to be honest. They are a playoff team. They don't have the talent to be a cup contender, but you will never see me in the what's the point of making the playoffs if you can't win a cup camp. Get in and that's all that matters in hockey sometimes.

You may be right . But we're you one of the guys who thought once the Rangers got into the playoffs they would may a run ? This team got expose badly at the end of the year . Now it looks like they may be coming back with the same team .. Just saying
