I don't think Okposo is that bad, 5.5 is probably too much for Landeskog and whatever Okposo gets will probably be too much, but it's a better option than Lucic, Ladd, Backes.

I don't think Okposo is that bad, 5.5 is probably too much for Landeskog and whatever Okposo gets will probably be too much, but it's a better option than Lucic, Ladd, Backes.

I'd love Backes at like $3M for the 3rd line for 3 years. It'd never happen, but a guy can dream.

I like Landeskog, but you almost have to move Kane for it to really work trade-wise. And then you're probably not getting much more in the way of production. You'll likely get way less headaches, but you'd have to add from it from Buffalo's side, and I wouldn't be comfortable giving up more than a couple mid-round picks as a premium for Kane's dumbassery.

this year Okposo was 25th in pp60, Landeskog was 94th. For each of the last three years Okposo has statistically been more productive than Landeskog

He also plays with top notch talent like Okposo. Duchene and MacKinnon aren't quite JT, but they're not that far off either.
