Yeah, nothing jumps off the pages and tells me he is DEFINITELY going to do that. But I still think the guy is insanely talented so I'll hold out hope that he could mature a bit and improve his game enough to come close to his potential. I think that this 2016 team will include some of the better offensive players he's had as teammates (sorry Blake Wheeler and Andrew Ladd).

For such a long time our fans have hoped to god that much less talented players would turn into something they never looked like they could be (guys like Kotalik or Afinagenov come to mind). Hopefully now we can watch a dude who definitely has the talent, reach it.

So here is to hoping that as this whole team improves, he decides to elevate his game with them instead of stagnate.

My intention wasn't to say he was bad. I dont think he ever lived up to what his game sometimes showed and what fans here thought he'd be. I think he was talented but I wouldn't say he was anywhere near the combination of talent that Evander Kane is.
