I'd take Okposo I just don't really like free agency for players like that. They always get inflated contracts and then underproduce.

Also, Florida is building a good team and there's no shame in losing out to them. They have a lot of good things going for them not even mentioning spending a winter there isn't that bad.

No blockbusters. We have lots of draft picks still. A guy and some picks, maybe a lower level prospect can get us a starter I believe. I don't want to see 5 of our slop for 3 of theirs plus other stuff. I think GMTM likes those kinds of trades. Keep it simple, NJ style, our OK defenseman for your stud winger.

I'm certain he had 18 points last year on a team that was better offensively. I'm certain his average is 23.3 points per year. I'm certain that he has been passed on the depth chart from 2014 to now. I'm certain we have players that have shown better offensive ability than he has.

All I'm saying is play him bottom 6 and that the odds aren't good that he has some huge breakout year and starts going on a tear offensively.

I think he could consistently score 30-40 points. 20 points per year is selling him short based only because he had a bad year last year. When I said "Top 6 potential" what I meant was he could play there like Rust or Sheary do for Pittsburgh. Not necessarily that he will be a 50-60 point legit top 6 guy.
