loving the Fowlers rumors tho. Potential #1 when Greene moves on. Right now I'd keep him on the left side and we'd have 2 very nice 2-way dmen on the 1st and 2nd pairs.

gotta pray Santini develops into at least a #3 mobile shutdown guy. we REALLY need one in the system. Maybe Helgeson steps up, but I think we already know what we're getting with him.

The argument is that Nuge would be the best center on the team. McLeod COULD be better. Zacha COULD be better. Henrique might hit 70 with Hall in a perfect world. So we might get a better center, but worst case we get a guy that's around the same level as the centers in the system. Meanwhile we're without a 21 year old Severson that could develop to be the BEST dman in our system. Doesn't make sense to me. Even if we trade for Fowler, and/or sign Russell/Demers.. we still need Severson as a part of the unit now and in the future.
