I don't see Eberle leaving now. I'd actually be surprised if anyone else gets traded before the start of season (except perhaps Yak).
Chia will probably look to free agency to fill in the remaining gaps. Tomorrow should be interesting.

I've heard lucic is done (which makes a ton of sense now) and demers is pretty much too. But who knows ?

I like larsson and arent as down on this deal as most. but as of yesterday, I'd be pretty sure we wouldn't deal hall for him straight up


Needs and the market trump value every time I guess

I already know how it's going to pan out. We are going to sign Lucic and maybe Demers to long overpaid contracts. We will see improvement and make the playoffs next year. Everyone will be excited and happy to be improved. Then we will be stuck with overpaid guys long term trying to resign McDavid, Nurse and Drai and Puljuju but we'll be up against the cap. We will be a 15-10 place team in the league for a decade and nothing more.

If they snag Demers I will be satisfied with the D acquisitions for the year.

If Yak gets moved I'm hoping its for more center depth. Someone like Girgensons. In my perfect world Drai and Eberle would be the top 6 RW with Pulj slotting in on the 3rd line and Kassian on the 4th. Then McDavid, Nuge, Letestu and the recent center pick up could fill in the middle.

If they snag Demers I will be satisfied with the D acquisitions for the year.
