Without a doubt the deal is very lopsided and I would have thought Hall could have brought a more established RHD. Call me crazy but I am going to assume Chiarelli has a better understanding then you or me of what the market was like to acquire a RHD.

Lucic is definitely one of those players whose contract will sting sooner rather than later. I think he's one of the more overrated players in the league.

Maybe, but that is the case with 50% of the league now. One could say that nearly all of the higher paid players don't live up to the money they are being paid within a couple of years of signing or even sooner for some. |

He's not far off. Hall for Rielly, Hamilton , Trouba, Dumba etc would have all felt like a ripoff. This guys are all at about the same level as Larson, none are in a different class no matter what the homers think of their guy.
