Actually him and Stauffer are by far one of the better play by play tandems to be found on the radio. Others like Columbus, Pittsburgh and Florida are hilariously bad.

Matt I agree with you more often then not and I am not saying there is no reason to be upset with the deal but your blog fails to even mention how this trade could benefit the Oilers.

Without a doubt the deal is very lopsided and I would have thought Hall could have brought a more established RHD. Call me crazy but I am going to assume Chiarelli has a better understanding then you or me of what the market was like to acquire a RHD.

Those of you that are saying then don't make the trade, are the same people who as fans have being crying for the Oilers to move talent up front to get a legit RHD. Or as critics laughing at the Oilers because they won't move there talent up front to get what everyone knows they need. It sucks but this was the cost to acquire what they need.

Those that keep bringing up Shttenkirk, I am thinking that if there was a chance to get him for Hall and be able to sign him long term it would have been done. A stud d-man for one year does not solve our problem.
