It's like the Canadian teams collectively came together and said (frank) it - let's all miss the playoffs next year too.
WTF is going on with these trades? Larsson is a fringe 3 -4 defender and PK is superior to Weber in every way except for his slapshot. |

Hall for Larson - there must be more going to the Oilers - NO ONE would do that straight up!!??? Dumb.
Webber for Subban? - watched Nashville for the first time in awhile this playoffs and was surprised how invisible Webber was - reputation better than his game.
Stamkos staying? - boring

Price to EDM for Yak. Gally gets his winger pal back - poisondhearts37
And then the Penguins finally get to unload M-A. Fleury to Montreal, where he'd surely love to play and the Habs would love to have him. Win-win! |

Regardless of the higher cap hit
Subban's contract runs out when he is 33. With 6 years left
Weber's contract still has 8 more years on it.
Nashville DEFINATELY won this trade.

apparently, when all of the tax implications are accounted for, Stamkos brings more money home by staying in Florida.

You guys have easily had the best offseason of any Canadian team. It's been a long time since that's been said. TML's have the ship pointed in the right direction finally. |
