Really a non issue, heck even Phaneuf's albatross of a contract got traded.

Hey now.................atleast we got the best MVP D-man in the league..... Although Subban was a great one..... I think this trade may come back to haunt them

Subban is a fun player to watch, but I'm surprised how many people are saying he's better than Weber.

I feel he's safer than Subban, more consistent than Subban, a better leader than Subban, harder shot & better defensively...

The only thing I'd rate Subban higher on is the fact that he can rush the puck as an offensive defensemen, where as Weber is more of the two-way type.

Montreal did okay here...

That's 4... sounds pretty elite to me! And I'm not sure about PK and Letang ... I'd put Keith in there though

Oilers were physically violated, but Montreal did okay.

Weber will be a leader on that team for years to come in ways that subban couldn't be and doesn't want to be...

I doubt that's really all that much different. Montreal still has very little outside Price, Weber, Pacioretty. Price/Weber is as much of a difficult tandom to score on as Price/Subban, not much more, not much less, in my opinion.

In a few years, you'll be very thankful though.

Weber is meaner, less flashy, harder hitting, but also slower. A lot slower.

I do'nt think it's going to make a difference to the Habs. It's a lateral move in the short term.
