It's not that this is a horrible deal - it's a deal that didn't need to happen with this player. I'm not a hockey GM but Cody Ceci will be a SOLID top 4D for years and likely has a chance to play the role Hjarmlsson has in Chiacgo has a strong 2-way, #3 D-man. I would have traded him for Hall but for more included. I think even a Hoffman or Zibanejad (who both are strong top 6F on playoff teams).

Larsson for Yakupov could of happened before the resurgence of 2014/2015 where he actually started to play something closeer to a top pick. But if you ask 100 avid hockey fans - and 20 GMs, who would you rather have - you'd get close to 120 people agreeing. This wasn't even close and GOD I hope I'm wrong. I think Eberle for Larsson should have been more than enough
