I don't know man. LA lost Lucic which hurts. Anaheim lost Anderssen, and added Carlyle. San Jose may have one run left, but they are older and had a rough run to disappointment. If I was guessing, LA still is the cream on top, SJ gets 2nd, Calgary and Edmonton are 3rd/4th (not necessarily in that order) to get low seeds, and Anaheim becomes the new 9th place team for the next few yrs.

Today + Lucic absolutely makes the Oilers at least a playoff contender. Though I wish it didn't.

I have a feeling that in 2 years were gonna love this trade, and the other bigger names won't look as appealing.

Larsson was splitting #1 duties with Green last year. And he did very well on a very mediocre team. And then there is his gem of a contract.

He was, but he is so good and so young. Anaheim has slowly rebuilt that roster without sucking. It's not fair.
