I honestly think both Calgary and Edmonton makes the playoffs, if you sign Lucic and we add something on the RW side. LA gets worse, Anaheim gets worse, SJ is old as f, Vancouver is garbage, AZ is still 2 yrs away

Really thats up to them showing up and playing big. Big bodies who dont make an impact will always be looked at as soft. The potential is there. But yall are to soon on the fact that Looch is an oiler. Many teams get to make offers to him. And at the money he wants. It will hurt many teams if they land him. Good guy and player for sure. But you usually add a guy like Lucic when its your time to make the push for the a cup. Id imagine that EDM literally passes on him. Esp after this trade. And look at what they have some more. And look at another 2 trades or so. McD is gonna get big money. Getting Looch at what he wants is gonna be hard to manage. Esp if your trying to build a defense.

I don't know man. LA lost Lucic which hurts. Anaheim lost Anderssen, and added Carlyle. San Jose may have one run left, but they are older and had a rough run to disappointment. If I was guessing, LA still is the cream on top, SJ gets 2nd, Calgary and Edmonton are 3rd/4th (not necessarily in that order) to get low seeds, and Anaheim becomes the new 9th place team for the next few yrs.

But I'm surprised Chiarelli didn't overpay with Nugent Hopkins and picks instead of Hall.
