I think something had to happen. I would have thought for sure that NJ was adding more pieces. I think trading Hall in essence is fine. But value seems off. And all the people saying but they're gonna get Looch or w/e. Getting a UFA doesn't make the trade feel better if you still feel the value wasn't there.

Right, since the trade. I've read that he is a coke head, locker room problem, poor tipper, brutal drunk, and not nearly as good as his stats show.

I'm not worried about it. I knew we would lose the trade for whatever D we acquired . I actually thought we would pay more for a better D man, TBH...but I'm ok with Larson.

It is crazy to think kids in their early 20s act like...kids in their early 20s. Pretty sure Hall is not the next Manziel. And he is actually good at his job.

I don't need to justify anything. We got a top pairing RS defensman that we needed that's young and on a cheap contract.

This team already has enough firepower up front and yes we did overpay a bit but that's what happens sometimes. Hopefully we sign Demers too.

Guaranteed we're going to move up in the standings. Top 20 id say.

I'd actually like to see it, not that I don't believe you, but I don't know a lot about Larsson, Zadorov, etc. It would be great to see concrete evidence as to why Zadorov, Grigorenko and whatever else the Avs got for ROR is better than Larsson.

Yeah, see that's what I don't care about. When you have loads of cash ( in this case assets) , you can afford to over pay. The lopsidedness of the deal doesn't bug me if Larson can be a real deal player for us.
As for Lucic...well, if we do get him, I think we come out the week a better team, and that's all that matters.
