Relax and console yourself with thoughts of a Kelfbom/ Larsson pairing for a decade. You just pulled a future 1st line FWD out in Puljujarvi, you have center depth for miles and now you actually have a RHD, and a good one at that.

Well he's been my avi since the day he was drafted so I went through a lot of ups and downs with him.

I knew we would lose a trade for defence but I didn't think it would be this bad.... with that said if you factor in the rumoured Demers signing and the addition of Larsson our blue line will finally be playoff caliber and we can let Nurse and Reinhart play in the AHL for a season or two.

Something had to be done. Gm's had us backed into a corner when it comes to a 1st pairing defenseman. It was an overpay but if we get Demers and Lucic I'll be pretty happy going into next season.

It might not be the ideal trade for edmonton but maybe Edmonton could not protect hall in the upcoming expansion draft.

He broke out in 2015 and every team he has played on since his breakout has been poop. His possession numbers really aren't a fair assessment.

I've often thought about what it would take to get Larsson. In my mind I was thinking maybe Nuge or Ebs. Never did I think Hall would be the one. There was a time when Larsson was struggling up and down from the minors where I think even Yak could of been the piece to land him. I'm not pissed that we got Larsson just a bit stunned that it took Hall to get him. Hall for Subban or Hall for Weber was the kind of deal I imagined.

I'm not too concerned about his numbers his first year or two.
Seems like last season he was given a real opportunity and proved he can be be a minute eater and play tough competition.

Wish there was some more offence to his game, but I also think we may have solved our right side going forward
