I think the Yandle deal sealed Campbells departure. If Chicago calls though, I'd imagine Campbell heads back.

That's a real good signing for them. Put him on Horvats wing and that could be a miserable line to deal with.

This is such a great trade. Yes losing Larsson leaves a hole on D but Hall is by far a superior talent and with our D prospects hopefully one of them can step in and fill Larsson's shoes. Getting a player like Hall is going to cost something and quite frankly the Devil's didn't have to pay as much as they should have.

Hes a 4th liner thats going to get paid 3rd line money. Hes a 1.25mil tops plyaer. hes gonna get over 2 mil maybe even 3mil from somebody desperate to make something happen.

Yeah, I've seen it all today, kills dogs, locker room cancer, bangs team mates wives, bad drunk. I think I even read that he masterminded 9/11. Amazing what people will say to justify a trade they don't like.

Moore is a lefty so I think there's a lot of uncertainty who will step in for Lars. Its true that Santini is far from a sure thing but Hynes got a good look at him at the end of the season against pro level players so hopefully he has some input.

Demers is a RHD. We really need a Russell, but he's a LHD. Demers will come cheaper too, and he's 28 vs 29. Could be a nice fit on the 2nd pair.

Losing Larsson definitely creates uncertainty now and in the future (we don't KNOW how these guys will develop). Us without Hall didn't leave as much uncertainty with how we'd find a top line winger. I think it may be easier to buy one than buy a 23 year old top pair dman.

Russell gets a lot of hate, but he is a warrior. No offensive upside, and not great possession numbers, but he is in no way a bad 4/5 D. Calling him a 7D like Tanner did is idiotic. He would be a good vet signing at a 3mm a yr/3-4 yr deal.

I'm not exactly sure about the expansion draft but can we leave Zajac unprotected? I could see Vegas taking a guy like him for veteran leadership and they'll have to hit the cap floor.

That is a pretty damn good top six by the way. Throw in Boucher and Blandisi in the bottom six and they're not looking too shabby.
