I think my point was he has to make it soon. As per the expansion, I don't think he will be protected or drafted. Another reason why we should be looking for other depth players and send JV back to Utica for a year. Some quality guys available that weren't qualified.

Cleaned house with all the vets , got a boatload of draft picks in a super soft draft. For all praising their strategy, there is no quick fix.

Id heard several times habs were really unhappy with him due to bad character, fights w roster guys.

The team absolutely needs to acquire a top line center to replace Henrik though.

I'm not as concerned about it after seeing how he attacked the issues on defence this off season. PLD was the target, out of his control. He has a season and another (hopefully high) lottery pick to sort that out.
