@robvollmanNHL Meanwhile .. Tyler Dellow was last seen running down the hall yelling to Chiarelli - 'I meant Ekman-Larsson!

Gotta love Garth

I need some time to process the Subban-Weber trade. I'd say that Montreal gets the better of this deal because Weber is the better pure defender.

I know he likes his hits, but...come on.

While the Devils are robbing Taylor Hall from Edmonton, what are the Flyers getting done?
- PLindbergh31

We're staying patient by staying exactly the same. Exactly...the same.

The words "cheap" and "boring" comes to mind.

Time to trade Schenn for a former 7th round pick becuase Schenn is too handsome.

I cant think of any scenario where I would want 30 year old Shea Webber over 26 year old PK Subban.

That makes no sense to me.

Again, it sucks that the off season is done so the Flyers cant make any moves.

still might end up being a win for Nashville to get out of the back end of webers deal even if thats the case

Tampa Bay has lost in the ECF twice, and all they did was resign a guy who was on their team last year.

They'll never get over the hump without making crazy, off-the-wall deals.

I just saw the news. WTF!

I'm trying to figure out which is the most absurd. I'm honestly not sure.

What I will add is that if Larsson, a guy who only this season played a full season without being put into the AHL (albiet a very good season and has a good pedigree), can get you Hall, then thank sweet baby Jesus that Hexy has been stock piling D prospects!

The back end is the cheap part. They've already made the heavy investment.

The best part is the front office staff in Montreal and Edmonton are probably having a circle jerk right now about how fantastic they made out

Ghost Amac Gudas would have been enough to get Weber or Subban

Well, Subban, for sure.

AMac and Gudas may have fetched you Taylor Hall.

true. from a financial statement thats totally correct.

still, if they do improve to a cap team, an 8 mil hit for a 39 and 40 year old defender will be tough.

Well, it's kind of the only good paert.

A division rival just got a top-line winger for a 2nd pair defender.

Norse God Shea Weber now has to play for a bunch of entitled French bumholes.

Not really much on the upside.
