THE HABS!
the franchise! - dt99999
What if Pax, and Gallagher, and Markov, and Plek, and others went to MB and told him to get rid of the (frank)er?
If you're MB what do you do?

In other news. PK said he will continue to work with the MTL Children's Hospital. Pretty classy guy. I hope he can still dedicate the time when its not as convenient. |

I don't get some people, 30 must be the new 35 - hamiltonhabfan
I think we are looking at his hard milage he has put on already. Like others have said, he's starting to decline. Nobody has said he will be done at 32. Just probably not a top 10 d man, where Subban probably still will be. |

What do you guys not get about the fact that he's been rapidly declining for two years. What joining a garbage team is magically going to Benjamin Button him, and his best years a ahead of him?
I'm not saying he won't be able to play in 3 years, I'm saying he'll likely be far worse than Subban by that time |

he's declining so fast I'm not even sure he'll make the Habs top 4.
might as well trade him right now. |

you tell them to go look in the (frank)ing mirror an to stop acting like (frank)ing children.
then you call your coach in and you tell him that if he can't manage his (frank)ing locker room e should be out on the (frank)ing sidewalk.
calisse...
waaaah waaaaaah I don't like PK (frank) YOU TABARNAK!!!
Paciorretty is the softest player in the league
Galagher is a grinder 3 years in the league
Markov is basically dead
Plek you just shove a printout of his playoff stats up his ass

I have no problem with him at all itès juyst the circumstances of the trade are basically that Bergevin has no clue what he's doing and he's improvising every (frank)ing year |

star players use MTL and TO to raise their value but they never or very rarely seriously consider them as an option. Leverage....that's our teams are used for. - Symba007
Stamps signed for 20% less than what he could have gotten at market. He didn't use the Leafs as leverage, he bluffed. He bluffed hard and he got called on it. He didn't even give himself a true chance to leverage a Leaf offer because he was likely too scared that at 12:01 pm Friday, Stevie Y would have gone shopping. |

really? Please tell us how Weber rapidly declined the last 2 years. How come he is a member of team Canada but not PK? I get how people are carried over by PK's departure but we are talking about Shea Weber for (frank) sake. And if he retires in the last four years of his contract, it's gonna be on Preds' hands.
I had a hard time with the way MB handled this year's fiasco but this trade is part of the solution not the problem. People like to forget we just got a 20 goals scorer. |

What's ironic is Oiler fans have been wanting Weber for years and no one thought he would be available. Then he goes and gets traded the day the Oilers get Larsson. |
