It's not even close to those 2 trades... I for one think it's a good deal for the Habs
- obie

So when Weber is garbage and Subban is still a top D-man, and the Habs blue line looks like ass, how will you feel about it then?

Subban will still be good in 2 years
- ehabs9

and so will Weber, but the problem is not there. the problem is that they will have to extend Price, and the year after that Pax.

If they are struggling this year they would be wise to trade Pacioretty at the deadline. He will have a lot of value to contenders, especially since he is still very cheap.

It's good in the sense that a very good player is coming back which wasn't the case for Roy and Chelios.

It's bad in the sense that I think Subban was worth more in terms of assets and it's yet another case of the habs getting rid of a player becasue they don't like him.

He's already been getting worse for two years! He won't be done, but he also won't be nearly as good

Weber will still be good for at least 5 years and I'd rather have Weber mentor the likes of Juulsen and Sergachev than Subban... they can learn to be true professionals and team players

Basically Habs have to have a serious cup run in the next 2 years for this to not look like a giant (frank) up of Roy or Chelios proportions

Seems about as likely as the miracle on ice.

- ehabs9

God i hope Weber retires at 33, he will be so done. (frank) it is getting total retard now.
