It's not even close to those 2 trades... I for one think it's a good deal for the Habs - obie
So when Weber is garbage and Subban is still a top D-man, and the Habs blue line looks like ass, how will you feel about it then? |

Subban will still be good in 2 years - ehabs9
and so will Weber, but the problem is not there. the problem is that they will have to extend Price, and the year after that Pax. |

If they are struggling this year they would be wise to trade Pacioretty at the deadline. He will have a lot of value to contenders, especially since he is still very cheap. |

It's good in the sense that a very good player is coming back which wasn't the case for Roy and Chelios.
It's bad in the sense that I think Subban was worth more in terms of assets and it's yet another case of the habs getting rid of a player becasue they don't like him. |

He's already been getting worse for two years! He won't be done, but he also won't be nearly as good |

Weber will still be good for at least 5 years and I'd rather have Weber mentor the likes of Juulsen and Sergachev than Subban... they can learn to be true professionals and team players |

Basically Habs have to have a serious cup run in the next 2 years for this to not look like a giant (frank) up of Roy or Chelios proportions
Seems about as likely as the miracle on ice. - ehabs9
God i hope Weber retires at 33, he will be so done. (frank) it is getting total retard now. |
