Worst case to me is Columbus can do something like dump cam Atkinson for a couple of 2nds to clear up the cap space they need; rather than lose jones for a few meh draft picks.

Idk, but seems silly to offer sheet him knowing Columbus will match. You have tie-up that cap space until they do. Very limiting.

They were trying to use the third this year to get cap relief. They may end up trading Dubois or next year's pick (not protected) to unload some crap - i mean cap. Hartnell and Tyutin if they agree to be traded, maybe Dubinsky.
