Ive been of the No to lucic opinion all along. However it also occured to me that his goon antics were also solely with the bruins, who are a team known for this type of nonsense. When you think about his time in LA there was not a single incident coming from Lucic that I recall being reported. Maybe his rep is about the bruins, who have had a license to kill from the league.

When I think of the toughness upgrades the oilers have made and the changes the flames have made in coaching (gulutzen teams have been tough to play against and now he's got inside knowledge of the canucks to boot) and their trades.....perhaps we need this. The oilers and flames we get tons of points from each season, this could be sink or swim on the season if we dont keep up with our rivals.

So considering the above I wont mind signing lucic, JB knows best.

I think it could be a factor, not that they're incompatible (Miller says hi), but comes down to $$$ and cap space.
