As long as we have the current ownership the team will be doomed to repeat. I think after 2 more seasons FA realizes this and tries to sell, the new owner will buy the team knowing what it needs and a true rebuild will start. I also do not mean by tanking like the Leafs did.

Quick fixes? They brought the average age of the team down 7 years...I hardly call that a quick fix. This fanbase demands a winner so there will always be pressure to make the playoffs. That will NEVER change. There are a lot of first generation Canadians living in Vancouver that weren't around when the team was terrible so they will lose interest as soon as we aren't competitive.
