He loved him some Pysyk. Schopp too.
I do think Pysyk was pretty good as a 4-6, but the holes in his game were never brought up by them - sbroads24
He was not a good crease clearing d-man, did not get into dirty areas. He needed to be a point producing D-man. The points never came.
He and Kulikov put up the same amount of points/ Points per 60, but Kulikov gives you a lot more jam, even if he fights as well as Mike Weber. |

brinson went to des moines, seemed to me he had more talent than that unless it's home |

Good idea - Sign Seth Jones to an offer sheet for about 7 million dollars per year. Costs you a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd if you get him. #Sabres
Jarmo matches, gives Murray the finger and sends the same OS to Risto. - TheSabresTaco
Is Seth Jones even that good? |

You take him liking a tweet as a for sure sign of him wanting to sign in Toronto?
as your username says... "As I see it"
- JVince11
Love how you and others just focused on the point about the tweet which essentially was a response to a previous post and lead up to my main point about what it would mean to win a championship in Toronto versus Buffalo.

They'll have to move either Eberle or RNH then.

It wasn't even that he wasn't that good, he was downright brutal at it.
He took most of his penalties in front of the net because he can't physically match up with most forwards.
They also love to point out how his points per 60 this season was just as good as Bogosian and McCabe. How about in 2013-14 when he played 44 games and his points per 60 was worse than Mike Weber?
He was good at some things, bad at others, just like Kulikov. Except Kulikov has proven he can handle bigger minutes |

Well that is technically illegal and I think tampering technically since they are not allowed to have talked term at all.
Not that I care a ton but it is.
Lucic was also quoted last night after being asked if he had agreed with EDM and his response was a simple "That is complete bullsh1t" |

I unfollowed him and Matthew Collar. They are just too big of fan boys of the game instead of realistic.
Coller's complaining about Pysyk was just to a whole new level of being a baby back b1tch. I couldn't take it any more. - JVince11
We won that trade but numbers say otherwise apparently? Well just the numbers they use |

What will it mean for Stamkos if he goes to Toronto, makes 11-12 million, and does NOT win a cup? What will that environment feel like for him?
He may very well choose Toronto, but it could get ugly for him if things don't go as planned. |

Correct. They are allowed to speak to guys to basically gauge their interest. But they're not allowed to actually make any offers or talk numbers/term. |

He isn't even 22 yet and is already a large, mobile guy with a pretty good shot. I think if we gave him top line minutes next to a player like Risto they could develop together and become an amazing pairing. |

IIRC, The Kings gave Lucic permission to negotiate with other teams. Not sure how that fits into the CBA. |

I'd kick the tires on justin schultz
was a -22 before being traded to pens, then a plus 7 when he was on a decent team
is he great, no
but IMO he would be better suited for our bottom pair than franson |

Well, that's a horse of a different color. In that case, it's possible that something has already been agreed upon but cannot be formally signed until noon, July 1st. |

Sundin was hated as much as he was loved. If Stammer doesn't win in Toronto they'll be calling for him not to go into the HHOF. What about the pressure of playing in your own town ? The media up his nose every second of the day. Even if Stammer goes there the Leafs still aren't a playoff team for another season possibly two and how does the city react to that ? Pros and cons to everything buzz |

I wouldn't be surprised to see both moved. I also don't think they get as much as people are thinking.
He has underwhelmed for being a top pick.
With all reports of Eberle being on the market awhile you have to wonder what they finally settle on.

As much as players love their home towns. They don't always want to play there. Players pass up that pressure all the time.
Besides... It's not like Toronto is known for signing a ton of UFAs anyway. No one that is a somebody signs there recently. |
