Remember the days when Robitaille would just rip the Sabres a new one almost nightly? He was so damn intense in those days and just blast anyone that saw things differently. He would lose his mind all the time to the point where I always thought he must have dirt on the program director. - fastek
I do remember that. Then he started flip flopping a lot and I started to lose all respect for him. But in his last few years on MSG he gained most of it back again. I think that accident probably made him just say "(frank) it" and say what was on his mind and everyone else could go (frank) themselves.
Not getting a good feeling with Stamkos. IMO the only way he ends up here is a trade for his rights or sign and trade. Just think the lure of going home and a team that has made the playoffs for 25 consecutive years holds more appeal. I still have the feeling that players across the league still hold negative view of the area and the drive down the 33 doesn't help. Yes our image and area is changing but most players don't have opportunity to see it. Maybe it's the Buffalo factor and maybe were the new Cleveland and some how we always get franked. I've grown up with no goal, wide right, Ronnie Harmon, a missing helmet and Mike Babcock. Its difficult to not let those things creep into your head. So Friday looms large for both our psyche and for this organization, I hope that Pegula and TM can sell Stamkos on our blueprint to bring a cup home to Buffalo and that he becomes the piece to break our curse.
I think if you get Stamkos you get Vesey too. Vesey should want to play on a strong team with chance to pad his stats for his next contract, oh and be with Eichel too!

Good idea - Sign Seth Jones to an offer sheet for about 7 million dollars per year. Costs you a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd if you get him. #Sabres
Jarmo matches, gives Murray the finger and sends the same OS to Risto.

1) He has a NMC so he can't be traded without permission
2) Athletes rarely go home
3) So Toronto's failures are somehow romantic and ours are tragic?
I meant to say, he cant offer sheet Risto, He would have no cap space after he matched JOnes. No Cap Space

I think the Seth Jones idea is a great option if they don't land Stamkos. We all wanted to improve defense and giving up a few picks hurts but if the defense improves and all the kids improve slightly we have a shot at the playoffs without Stamkos.

Blessing is here, he has a sports talk show I think live from I forgot which casino. They were talking with him the other day about the new team we got.

Hey, remember Stammer favoriting LeBron's tweet about him returning home to win championships and how LeBron became a God and legend when he delivered said championship last week?
We both know, and so does Stammer, what would happen to if he delivers a cup to Toronto. Nothing even remotely close to that happens if Stamkos won a cup in Buffalo.

Seth jones would drastically improve our d to the point we would need as much scoring. I think we could make the playoffs. But I still don't think it's enough

I unfollowed him and Matthew Collar. They are just too big of fan boys of the game instead of realistic.
Coller's complaining about Pysyk was just to a whole new level of being a baby back b1tch. I couldn't take it any more.

I'm not even sure how to respond here.
Because Stamkos favorite a tweet by LeBron means Stamkos is signing in Toronto?
What about all the other athletes who favorites it. Are they going home too?

You take him liking a tweet as a for sure sign of him wanting to sign in Toronto?

Between the Pysyk BS and talking about how Okposo should get 8 they lost all credibility with me. I used to enjoy listening to them, now they just annoy me.

He loved him some Pysyk. Schopp too.
I do think Pysyk was pretty good as a 4-6, but the holes in his game were never brought up by them - sbroads24
He was just solid at what he did. I didn't think he would ever even be a 2nd pairing guy unless it was on a bottom dwelling team. I think that Kulikov is already a top 4 guy with better tools according to what we need.
Pysyk's analytics looked great but that is because he was goign against other team's checking lines and 4th liners. Coliacovo had great analytics too but that doesn't mean he was good.

The relentless rant that Coller went on about how terrible a trade it was to move Pysyk was hilarious! Holy S, put it in perspective man, you would've thought the Sabres traded Phil Housley. GMTM calling Pysyk an analytics darling sent Coller and Schopp into a tailspin. Mark Pysyk! Get him out of here. He should've played with a dog cause he looked scared.
